    Verdict

It's difficult to make a strong case for many of these as Flaming Telegraph was tailed off on her debut at Thirsk and Barnacre likewise over C&D last month. Vital Merlin looked very slow at Chepstow in May while Angel Cake has had plenty of chances and is only a plater. Cellist is sure to be backed, however, following Thursday's fourth at Yarmouth and he should stay the extra but CARD SWEEP has been taking on better company and may well be good enough to open his account in this modest heat.
