In depth

Verdict

Blue Wave scored on his Polytrack debut at Lingfield and Pippy got her head in front on her handicap debut over 7f at this track. Grandorio won well in soft ground at Newcastle a week ago but CHEEKTOCHEEK is fancied to find the most improvement here. He showed his inexperience when racing on and off the bridle on his introduction at Yarmouth but still did enough to win and better things are expected from Marco Botti's charge. Titus Titan and Abraq look to have a bit to find stepping up in trip.
