Verdict

BEAUTY PAGEANT is a winner without a penalty having won an apprentice's race at Musselburgh last week. A similar effort should be enough to go in again as this looks less competitive. Lord Buffhead ran nowhere near his best at Newcastle on Wednesday but Beach Rhythm had the excuse of heavy ground for his recent poor effort at Ffos Las. Borough Boy can figure off his current mark and looks best of the rest.
