    Verdict

    ALBERTUS PICTOR could only manage third on his handicap debut at Lingfield last time. Racing keenly off a slow pace set by the eventual winner Archie Rice, Sir Mark Prescott's charge couldn't pick up in the closing stages and may well take matters into his own hands from the front here. He's given another chance ahead of Straversjoy who has won four times over C&D since last September and should go close again despite a penalty. Bold Adventure is a multiple winner on Polytrack but over 1m6f or further while Kames Park has a chance on his best form.
