A poor opener where SLEW CHARM is taken to score, while Terminate and Amwell Brave have chances. The Noel Chance-trained selection returned from along absence to be just held in a similar contest over 1m 4f last month. His trainer has not rushed him back to the track and therefore will hopefully have negated any bounce factor and with his performance last time suggesting he will get this far plus just 2lb rise we will side with him. Amwell Brave probably just about gets this far and he is a regular on the Polytracks. He is on a plenty low-enough mark here but may just be better at places such as Lingfield and Kempton. Terminate caught a tartar last time out, and although untried over this trip he stays a furlong shorter well enough so there is plenty of hope he will get home and he is expected to be very competitive. Ben Bacchus won a poor Kempton handicap two starts ago but was anchored by a 7lb rise last time, while Ruby Delta continues to sport headgear after winning in it last time and being unexposed at this trip he is likely to be involved at the business end. Slew Charm can score.
