In depth

Verdict

Panic Stations has been consistent in defeat and is the pick over the likes of Todlea, Mister Maq and Dispol Foxtrot. Panic Stations was sent off as favourite at Kempton on her last outing 58 days ago, but after looking the likely winner after striking the front two furlongs out, Michael Bell's filly was collared near the finish. She has run here twice already this season, finishing runner-up both times so goes well on the track, and will be strongly fancied to come good today. Todlea was successful on the Kempton Polytrack in July and has been in winning form on Turf since at the likes of Chepstow and Goodwood, so has to be a danger along with Mister Maq, although he will have to improve to actually win. Dispol Foxtrot has been a course specialist at Hamilton in the past, and has winning form on the Southwell fibresand, but is not as potent here. Further down the weights, Musicmaestroplease and Spark Up make a bit of appeal for place purposes, but Panic Stations is the percentage call based on past efforts.
