Verdict

ROCK 'N RED was beaten only a length in third over 1m2f on her handicap debut. The way she ran on in the closing stages having being hampered earlier suggested this extra distance will suit and she can open her account back in maiden company today. Forgiving Flower is rated 2lb higher than the selection but hasn't raced since November when placed at Kempton and steps up from a mile, as does Chelmsford third Ms Gillard. The newcomer Introductory is related to winners over shorter trips but the older horses have a tough task on these terms.
