Verdict

Tmaam is a $50,000 Dynaformer colt who is a half-brother to winners in the US and on pedigree will handle the trip. He is worth a market check on debut. David Simcock's horses are in decent nick and Ajeeb has a third placed effort from his first run to build upon today and also looking to benefit from experience is Irons On Fire for a trainer with a 17% strike-rate here this year. The form hasn't been franked for JARIDH's second place to Biographical on his first outing, but if he is progressive then he merits respect. He receives the vote with Championship challenger Richard Hughes in the saddle. Oversteer has shown some inexperience in his first two starts and more can be expected this time round and another threat remains in the other Godolphin entry Plattsburgh. A competitive looking race but the tentative call goes to Jaridh.
