The former John Dunlop-trained MOUNTAIN RANGE has slipped to a very handy mark and is just the type his new handler does so well with. His last success was just over a year ago at Kempton from 8lb higher and a chance is taken that he's fit enough after a break. Noble Jack and Idol Deputy are both on hat-tricks. The former may now be too high in the weights but Mark Usher's charge loves this track and trip and is by no means harshly treated so has to be on the short-list. Brimstone Hill doesn't win very often and is now on his highest-ever mark so the main threat may come from Exning Halt, who ran several very good races on Turf last summer and could hardly have won more easily in a maiden here last month.
