Verdict

Very little strength in depth here and SCOGLIO can get off the mark. Frank Sheridan's gelding looked certain to gain his maiden success here last month when cruising throughout but emptied out close home. McCool Bannanas has twice finished close up behind the selection, including last time, and looks certain to be thereabouts again. That latter race was probably a slightly better event than this. My Mate Jake should be winning soon judged on a fine run in a Pontefract handicap last October and he looks a threat despite his long absence, while any market move for Tom Dascombe's newcomer Mundesley should be noted.
