Willheconquertoo is the pick over Norcroft, Chilly Cracker and Namir. The selection has not been seen out since July, but lines up fresh in his bid to register a first success since scoring on the Lingfield Polytrack in December last year. Andrew Reid's five-year-old has taken on better company than this in the past, and indeed was sent off as favourite on his last start in a Brighton Handicap. He showed very good early pace but faded rapidly on the lightning fast ground, and if getting away in similar fashion today, can this time make all. Norcroft is also entitled to be there or thereabouts on his best form but has to put a poor run at Windsor behind him here, while Chilly Cracker has not progressed since making a promising start to her career as a juvenile, but she is dangerous to leave out at this level. Namir has a string of duck-eggs to his name but made all in a conditions race at Hamilton in May, and unless he has gone at the game completely, is another to consider, but we return to Willheconquertoo as the answer.
