Verdict

MARMOT BAY has had 27 starts, all bar one on Polytrack, and won three times here. She performed well on her latest start and couldn't go much lower in the weights - Eva Moscrop's claim is a bonus. Daneglow had proved himself very consistent before winning a maiden here but Volcanic Dust has now gone 20 runs on the all-weather without winning. Robyn gained her only victory to date here in November and her last three efforts can be ignored as they were at Southwell. Chateau Lola was conceding 8lb to Rightcar here last February but still managed to come out on top by a length though she has a poor strike-rate.
