Lady Knight showed nothing on Polytrack before runner-up in a four-runner race at Southwell. She's the regular ride of Liam Jones, who partners her instead of stablemate Bonjour Steve whom he's ridden three times in the past. The latter has run his best races on Turf, including on soft ground at Deauville in October. Richard Fahey tries Our Gabrial in blinkers for the first time as the son of Rock Of Gibraltar can't get his head in front. He's rarely beaten far and, if the headgear works, he has to be a threat. ALFAAYZA makes her handicap debut and has produced her best two runs to date on Polytrack so she's given the nod over Karl Burke's other entry Truancy, who landed a maiden over 7f here and didn't run badly in a better race than this at Lingfield on Saturday.
