    Verdict

Maiden winner STAR ARCHER missed the whole of last year but was gelded during the interim. Rated 90, he may be capable of making a successful comeback in this company. Sam Missile shares the same handicap rating as the selection but will find today’s trip on the short-side and the remainder have plenty to prove. Island Song and Elite Treaty are the most likely improvers while winning hurdler Betancourt debuts on the Flat.
