Verdict

Monte Major is on form and makes the list having put in a string of fine performances in plating class races and although based on those he looks off a workable mark he will find this tougher. With that in mind preference is for METHAALY who won over course and distance before not getting held all that far over the minimum distance. He's best over this distance so under the same mark can go better. On best form Lastkingofscotland looks well-treated but might find this trip on the sharp side these days while Wigram's Turn is extremely well-weighted on the pick of his runs but this step down in trip will have to work the oracle. A wide open race that can go to Mathaaly.
