Verdict

Three recent winners in a Class 7 event is a rare sight indeed, though all are closely matched. Catching Zeds beat Troy Boy less than a length here last time and there's little between that pair. There was only a head between The Bay Bandit and Supa Seeker here a fortnight ago and the latter has gone on to land a seller. But the top weight had earlier found MR CHOCOLATE DROP too good at Kempton and, given Mandy Rowland's charge is better off at the weights today, he gets the nod to confirm running and come out best again. The seemingly out-of-form Brown Pete was the subject of a gamble on Wednesday before being declared a non-runner and is worth noting.
