        Verdict

        Requisite would have every chance if taking part but was engaged to run at Kempton yesterday. DEFENCE COUNCIL is just preferred in any case as last month's narrow margin defeat to Elna Bright over C&D looks the best piece of recent form on offer. Dasho arrives on the back of a victory at Kempton and has strong claims along with Lingfield winner Lujeanie, who beat Close To The Edge and Sir Geoffrey last time. Woolfall Sovereign is creeping up the weights without winning but should be thereabouts once again.
