In depth

Verdict

MARMOOQ is the form pick to land this handicap with both Boss Hog and Inside Story worth noting. The selection is five pounds higher since landing a similar contest at Kempton last time out. He does now run off a career high mark but the fact that he has been in such great form this winter winning three of his last five races he is difficult to oppose. Boss Hog has been knocking on the door this winter settling for second place in his last three outings. He is still winless in nine starts but it will not be long before he does break his maiden tag so any market moves should be noted. Inside Story finds it difficult to win races. He has however dropped in the ratings as a consequence and comes into the race off a mark he more than capable of being competitive off. He always tries hard in his races and should be in the shake up once again. But of for the winner we return to Marmooq.
