    In depth

    Verdict

MONTE CINQ (NAP) has been competing in Class 2 sprints since winning his maiden over course and distance and was beaten less than a length at Lingfield last month. He’ll find this much easier and Clifford Lee’s 5lb allowance further helps his cause. Course and distance winner Dazacam also drops down in class and has the beating of Major Jumbo on collateral form. The latter won a lower grade race at Newcastle earlier but found Wild Approach too good at the same track last time and Bob Cowell’s progressive charge is preferred to the maiden winners Blitz and Ferocity.
