In depth

Verdict

Desperate fare and KING'S CHORISTER is our idea of the winner with Precocious Air and La Diosa the obvious alternatives. King's Chorister represents a combination that took a similar race on last week's card and while that is no way to be organising a betting strategy, the horse was formerly in the care of Sir Michael Stoute and has headgear applied today. Precocious Air is dangerous if escaping into an early lead. He ran well in handicap company at this track earlier in the month and has to be noted closely in the market. La Diosa has the highest BHA rating and he is now in the care of rookie handler, George Baker. Vien looks ordinary. Vodka Shot is swiftly dropped in grade after a lamentable run. Cash In The Attic and Abhainn are stepped up massively in trip having shown little over shorter. Whotsit should have learnt plenty for a first racecourse experience. This is a race that will take little in the way of winning and King's Chorister rates as the most token of picks.
