In depth

Verdict

Fortrose Academy was expected to finish closer than fifth on his handicap debut over 6f at Kempton last time. This longer trip may see him in a better light, but NOT BAD FOR A BOY is preferred. He won a nursery over today's distance at Lingfield recently beating the strongly fancied Delft and this looks no tougher despite the 8lb rise. Mr Red Clubs will need to step up on his recent winning form in selling company and C&D maiden winner Chelsea Mick could prove a bigger threat having managed only third over a mile here last time.
