        Verdict

        A tight claimer at the weights but SPINNING RIDGE just edges it on recent form and gets the nod. He scored at Kempton before finishing a creditable fourth behind higher rated rivals at Lingfield on Wednesday and a repeat of either run should see him home and hosed in this. Dual turf winner Quite A Catch is unexposed on Polytrack and better is expected after a recent spin on the Fibresand, while C&D winner Pipers Piping should also figure on his second at Southwell during the week and Kieren Fallon takes over the reins. Ajdaad and Spin Cast have the past form to figure if at their best.
