Verdict

This race is severely lacking in quality and form but the vote goes the way of ONLY A GAME. The pick is now 1lb lower than his last winning mark and as he was doing some better work towards the end of a six furlong contest last time here this extra furlong may do the trick. Talent Scout looks poised for a big run as he continues to improve after a belated start to his racing career. He once exchanged hands for 160,000 guineas but clearly hasn't progressed as connections would have hoped as he was resold for just £13,000. Gee Major has already won twice this year and has strong claims against weak opposition. Stargazing is out of a dam who won three times over sprint distances and is entering the sales ring at Tattersalls on Tuesday, so expect a big run from this one to boost the sales price.
