In depth

Verdict

In an interesting finale, Just Bond is selected ahead of Magical Music and Davenport. Magical Music and Just Bond are both in very good form and good runs are expected once again today. The former looks fairly weighted and the latter looks progressive and they should play their parts in this race. Davenport is six pounds better off for the two lengths that Magical Music beat him last time so has to be afforded plenty of respect, while Royal Amnesty is capable of running well from today's rating but, overall, recent efforts are not overly persuasive. Finally, the lightly-raced, Lunar Promise is fully entitled to improve on his latest run, which was only his second in over a year, but, for the selection, we are happy to stick with Just Bond.
