    Verdict

This is a tricky finale for punters to call but we are happy to side with Sgt Schultz to get the better of Squirtle and Ballybeg. The selection was tackling this trip for the first time when a close second behind Airbound last time. He was flying at the finish that day so this is a trip that clearly suits and as he gave the impression that he was one to stay on the right side of that day we are happy to nominate him as the one to beat. Squirtle put up her best effort for some time at Warwick last time when she finished second behind In The Money. She is dropped in trip today which will not be a problem and she is respected. Ballybeg ran well after a lengthy break last time but he is unproven over this trip and for that reason he is difficult to back with any confidence. Sea Of Calm is from a leading yard and is worth a look in the market, but for the winner we will stick with Sgt Schultz.
