Verdict

Microlight merits respect from a good draw with neither the step up to a mile nor the 5lb rise in the weights expected to trouble him unduly but there are a number of unexposed runners in the field for whom market support would clearly be of interest and one of those gets a tentative suggestion. SAMMY ALEXANDER has hinted at ability in three runs in maidens and is entitled to come on for last months' outing at Lingfield, his first run since June, and should appreciate this surface. Indian Wish failed to live up to expectations for Michael Bell but has to be of interest for new connections at a modest level having changed hands cheaply whilst Les Landes was only 2 lengths behind Microlight last time and has to be on the short-list.
