Verdict

The booking of Jamie Spencer for Carbon Print takes the eye and it would be no surprise to see the gelding attract support for the in-form Paul Webber but he was beaten a long way over hurdles earlier in the month and hasn't shown an awful lot in his career to date. However, he does still head the weights in this contest and it would be folly to dismiss him out of hand but preference is for SHARK MAN. He has been on the downgrade for the best part of 18 months but is attractively handicapped as a result of that and gained his most recent victory at this track. He is having his first start for Michael Wigham having left Andrew Reid and the market should tell us everything we need to know. If the support fails to materialise then attention should be turned to the likes of Love In The Park, Tres Froide and All Moving Parts who all have clear claims.
