In depth

Verdict

Up For An Oscar easily won a novices' handicap at Southwell last month and has every chance of defying a penalty in this with Ed Cookson taking off 5lb. Drum Valley got taken off his feet over 2m1f here on his chasing bow and will be happier over this trip. Gate Please may improve for the switch to fences but doesn't have much scope and Lundy Sky has been hard to keep fit. CORONEA LILLY is jumping fences late in life but she stays and won in this grade over hurdles last year. She did contest a couple of point-to-points earlier in her career and could be worth a small bet in this with her allowance.
