      Verdict

A tricky looking claimer with Prime Contender, Monsieur Delage and Lost Treasure among those with a squeak but we will side with Hot Zone. The Jonjo O'Neill-trained selection returns from a break here and is not badly treated at the weights compared to if this were a handicap. Trip and ground suit and A P McCoy can galvanise him to victory. Prime Contender is another suited by conditions and trip and he will appreciate this return tio a claimer, so he has to be respected. Redemption has scaled much greater heights than this in his time and won a similar contest at Market Rasen in June so is on good terms with himself. Heir To Be would have been more interesting if he had shown anything at all lately, but he has to put two disappointing efforts behind him here, while Earlsfield Raider may be a better proposition now dropped to this sort of grade once more. Hot Zone is the suggestion here.
