In depth

Verdict

GIRLY GIRL could only manage fourth when favourite for the race won by Toubougaloo at Cheltenham in April but still finished ahead of Hoponandsee and Pink Play - compensation awaits here for Dan Skelton's mare, who had finished second at Towcester earlier under Bridget Andrews. The Barbury Queen could be the danger as she will have learned plenty from her fourth at Market Rasen last month. Zara Hope and Keep Up Keira are both interesting debutantes representing in-form yards.
