In depth

Verdict

HEURTEVENT was winning for the third time over fences, and the second time here, when successful over 2m last month. This much longer trip has proved beyond him in the past but this is such a poor race that Tony Carroll’s gelding probably need only get round in a reasonable time to score again. Mr Satco was third over course and distance before pulling up at Newton Abbot and will be a danger if in the mood while Drumhart should be capable of better. Mercers Court is eased in grade and also worth considering.
