In depth

Verdict

Quite a few with solid claims including recent Uttoxeter one-two Arthur Mc Bride and Theatre Goer. The former was gaining a first hurdling success and appeals as the sort likely to improve with racing now he's off the mark for the Twiston-Davies team. Both go on the shortlist along with the unexposed Charlie Breekie who looks on a nice mark for Ben Pauling to work with on the back of a couple of promising Southwell efforts, especially now he goes up in trip. Volcanic, last-time winner Harristown and the consistent Hold Court could all play a part in an open contest but LISTEN AND LEARN has been brought steadily to the boil this term and should produce a good effort at a price over a trip he's guaranteed to stay well.
