Verdict

All a question of which of the form horses merits another chance and KINGS DESTINY just shades the vote. The former Michael Jarvis Flat handicapper has been runner-up on both starts over timber but was quite disappointing when easily swept aside by Thegaygardener at Uttoxeter last time. He is worth rowing in with again on just his third start over hurdles, whereas Clarion Call has a career record under both codes combined of 0-17. Runner-up the last three times on ground with cut, it will be interesting to see how he operates on the quicker ground. He certainly should be on the premises, whilst Latest Trend has his second run for Tim Vaughan. He went nicely last time on the soft for the Welsh handler and placed form on good ground at Killarney when trained by Mary O'Connor suggests these conditions will not be an inconvenience.
