    Verdict

It will be interesting to see how the market shapes up regarding Mark Johnston's newcomer Always Stylish, who is by Nashwan, but he will need to be decent to get the better of Alasoun, who is preferred to Soulard. The last mentioned looks to be going the right way and ran his best race when chasing home Brigadore at Redcar last time. With further improvement likely, Jeremy Noseda's colt has to be respected. Billich has claims on the pick of his form but is becoming frustrating, while Sweet Medicine needs to improve on all known evidence to trouble the judge. The vote then goes to Sir Michael Stoute's Alasoun, who has improved with each start so far, including on a fast surface last time, and would not need to improve much further to win this.
