Verdict

Doncaster maiden winner BAHIA EMERALD shaped well enough without looking like winning on her handicap debut at Nottingham last month. This looks easier and with further progress expected, Jeremy Noseda's filly can return to winning ways. Novabridge takes a drop in class and could figure given he landed a double over the minimum trip back in April, but Paradise Place keeps finding one too good and has risen in the weights once again as a result. Till Dawn ended last year with a trio of placed efforts over 5f and Eyes On may do better in first-time blinkers.
