In depth

Verdict

It was soft ground at Nottingham when JAWHAR won his maiden in September and he's taken to make a winning comeback with improvement expected. Prince Of Sorrento has been raised 5lb and upped in class after scoring at Brighton a fortnight ago but Batgirl ran well over C&D last month and should be thereabouts again. Soweto Star may prefer a faster surface but European Dream will relish the underfoot conditions and looks the main threat to the selection.
