Verdict

A tricky finale as Salisbury maiden winner Malekov has scope for plenty of improvement. MAASTRICHT is fancied to bounce back to winning ways, however, back over a more suitable trip. He's found 1m4f too sharp in a couple of recent runs having made all over 1m7f at Doncaster last month. Suzi's A Class Act is in good form and may have just found 2m too far again at Chester last time while Miss Topsy Turvy will have needed her run at Thirsk 10 days ago. Unlucky Leicester third Toughness Danon also warrants a mention but the handicapper seems to have Samarkand and Ethics Girl where he wants them and Cockney Sparrow is opposed for the same reason. Blimey O'Riley is better than he's shown so far this year and may be best of the rest.
