Mugeba, Desert Opal and Zazous are the three to catch the eye here in an open contest and course and distance winner Mugeba can score again. A winner at Wolverhampton in March, Desert Opal has finished second on four occasions since, including when beaten a short head over the minimum trip last time. His best efforts seem to have been reserved for the all weather but he is in good heart and is respected. Zazous won at Newbury in August over this trip and has run respectably to finish fourth in decent handicaps since over the minimum trip. Back to six furlongs today, Zazous can go well. All Mugeba's four successes have come at Yarmouth including one over this distance. She stayed on to be a close third in a big field at Leicester last time yet has been dropped a pound by the handicapper. Mugeba can take full advantage and can make it win number five at the track.
