Taboor should go well as he bids to emulate last year's success but there seems little reason to desert SILVER PRELUDE. The selection carries a 6lb penalty for his ready success over course and distance where Taboor was amongst those behind. He won with plenty in hand and looks difficult to oppose. Taboor did make good late ground to finish just two and a half lengths adrift so has reasonable claims on these terms whilst Chantilly Jewel was only a short-head further back in fourth so also enters the calculation. Gone'n'dunnett was back in sixth and well held but has been a prolific winner for his yard and is capable of popping up. Cases can be made for Lithaam and Rough Rock but their claims are hardly compelling and it's not difficult to come down in favour of Silver Prelude.
