        Verdict

        KALAGIA was caught close home attempting to make all at Lingfield on her reappearance. Mark Johnston’s filly is worth another chance in this modest company with that outing under her belt. Global Excel was sent off favourite on his comeback at Wolverhampton but never threatened in third while Roman Spinner won twice on the all-weather last year and drops back down to 6f on her return to action. It remains to be seen if Cloud Eight and Enzo's Lad improve for their first starts on the Turf but both need to if they are to figure.
