Zhuba attempted to force the pace over 1m2f here last time and it nearly paid off as he was only caught in the closing stages. However, it's likely he'll be taken on for the lead by recent Lingfield runner-up Nullarbor Sky if similar tactics are employed in which case the race could pan out on favour of HERMOSA VAQUERA. The latter disappointed at Brighton last time but it's easy to forgive a poor run at that quirky track and Peter Chapple-Hyam's filly should give a much better account in this. Precision Strike has been given a chance by the handicapper dropped 3lb after a close-up third at Catterick and he's preferred to Helamis, the winner of a seller over course and distance last time.
