In depth

Verdict

Sound Of Nature is selected here ahead of Barney McGrew and Mina A Salem. Sound Of Nature comes here as young and progressive, having won two of his three races. He has been raised seven pounds for the latest of them but, with his stable among the winners, has to be respected and the market should guide. Guildenstern is on a winning mark and it will be interesting to see how he fares over tody's trip, all of his wins having come at shorter. Barney McGrew has proven pretty consistent on the all-weather of late and his mark remains fair. Based on the fact that it was an eyecatching return at Lingfield last time - and despite the fact that he has yet to win over today's trip or on Turf - Mina A Salem went down as one to watch out for there so keep an eye on him. Overall, though, the vote stays with Sound Of Nature.
