HUCKING HERO looks the answer to this puzzle with Orthology and Intikama others to have chances on the official ratings. The selection was a tad disappointing last time out but today's assignment is over a much more appropriate trip and we are hopeful that the cheekpieces will sharpen him up. Orthology finished ahead of the selection last time. A smart juvenile; he found himself particularly at the mercy of the handicapper as he deemed the horse to be rated 84 off the back of three efforts between 1m and 1m2f. Jimmy Quinn rides Intikama and that could be a tip in itself. The filly has shaped with a modicum of promise under a similar surface but will need to produce a much better effort than the one we saw last week. Bromhead was tried in first time tonguestrap last time out and appeared to deliver an improved performance as a consequence. Lady Sorceror is back in the visor she wore at Ayr. A poor effort at Catterick needs to be overlooked. Mile High Lad looks greatly flattered by his BHA rating and judging by his absences between races, probably has issues in relation to the rigours of training. Aidan O'Brien castoff, Hard Ball, has shown little since joining Mick Quinn and an overdue drop in class looks wise on the evidence of his recent efforts in handicaps. Hucking Hero gets the vote in a race of limited betting appeal.
