Liberty Ship won this a year ago and his latest run should be ignored as he was left at the start. Danzoe scored over the C&D around this time last year and is on the same mark but Samba Night is still a maiden after a dozen starts and probably needs to drop a few pounds in the weights. Marmalade Moon appeared to be making a bit of progress before floundering on Fibresand so this can go to IRISH GIRLS SPIRIT. Paul Midgley's filly showed nothing in three maidens before just touched off at Windsor on her handicap bow. She followed that with a victory over this C&D and doesn't appear to have much more to do. Miss Polly Plum often runs well here as she did last time and is no forlorn hope.
