Verdict

Mark Johnston's Act Of Kalanisi is capable but inconsistent so looks best left out of calculations with a more likely winner looking to be David O'Meara's Descaro, who is closely matched with Jim Goldie's Tillietudlem but neither are seemingly at their best on this surface. Tim Easterby's Bollin Judith should stay this far but has yet to confirm that she does and of more interest may be Dubara Reef, who has claims off just a 3lb higher mark than when scoring at Chester last time. The vote though goes the way of David Simcock's HEAD HUNTED, who holds Dulcie on running at Goodwood last month and he looks worth siding with being a confirmed performer on soft ground.
