    Verdict

Master Of Finance was runner-up a year ago to the heavily-supported Mahsoob but he's 7lb higher and the ground may be on the fast side for him. Hit The Jackpot has never won beyond Class 3 level and is 3lb higher for last month's short-head victory at Doncaster but PACIFY looks to have an outstanding chance, despite a big weight. Ralph Beckett's charge was beaten less than a length when attempting to concede Dark Red 11lb at Epsom and the winner defied a 6lb rise to go in again at Chester last week. Nayed is 2lb out of the handicapper and was beaten in a Class 4 on his reappearance but Erik The Red looks a big threat. Kevin Ryan's charge completed his hat-trick when scoring at this level at Chester in September and reappeared with a tremendous run over a mile at Haydock where he was finishing best of all. The lightly-raced Spanish Squeeze should have more to offer this season and very nearly had a victory at this level to his credit on Polytrack at Chelmsford in November when beaten a nose.
