        Verdict

        HARROGATE faded close home at Pontefract but this is a much easier track and James Bethell's juvenile could hang on this time. Awesome looks pacey and bids to follow up a Chepstow win under a penalty while Equitant's burden is eased by Adam McNamara's claim. Makanah was a close third over 6f here in May while Midsummer Knight will find this a lot easier than the Flying Childers at Doncaster. Machree made a promising start at Ripon but will need to improve again to figure here.
