It was a weak-looking Listed race that Afandem won at Vichy last month and he has a penalty to carry here, though a line through Yalta suggests he should have the measure of both Big Time Baby and Kyllang Rock. Yalta is trained by Mark Johnston, who runs SUTTER COUNTY in this. The unbeaten Invincible Spirit colt hasn't raced since Newmarket in April but the form of that race couldn't have worked out better with the second, third and fourth winning since. Final Reckoning has been showing progressive form over 6f but drops back to the minimum for the first time today. Smokey Lane, Megan Lily and Secret Potion are all recent winners but look to be facing a tough task in this grade.
