Verdict

It is hard to ignore Alexandova's chances here and she is the confident choice to beat Shamdala and Allegretto. Aiden O'Brien's filly comes here following victories in the English and Irish Oaks and the hat-trick should be a formality. She won by an eased down six lengths at Epsom, before winning in similar fashion at the Curragh. Today's opponents don't look any stronger and she will be hard to stop this afternoon. French raider Shamdala was an impressive winner in Italy, before finding the mile and six testing her stamina in a Group two at Longchamp. Back over twelve furlongs she should give a good account. Allegretto was impressive in the Lancashire Oaks and looks the pick of the Sir Michael Stoute pair. The others could be a little out-classed here and so we return to Alexandrova as the one they all have to beat.
