Exceedance has won his last two starts on the Polytrack over the minimum distance but has gone up 14lb since his last success and could be worth opposing in his hat-trick bid. C&D winner Pea Shooter will be fitter for his run over 6f at Newmarket and has to go on the short-list. Amadeus Denton, likewise, after a pipe-opener at Thirsk though he will have to reverse that form with both I'll Be Good and Last Bid.
